Prevention, Treatment and Study of Childhood AIDS

Congenital HIV infection has emerged as a major cause of mental retardation and developmental disabilities, particularly in selected urban populations. This research is focused on the understanding of the natural history, means of transmission, treatment and potential preventative approaches of pediatric HIV infection.
