Q: What is
unique about the New England Consortium of Metabolic Programs?
A: The New England Consortium includes professional representatives
from metabolic centers, public health departments, and newborn screening
programs. Representatives from industry, parent organizations, and support
groups also participate. It is the only professional organization in
New England that brings together those involved in the identification,
treatment, or study of inborn errors of metabolism. Recent projects
include: developing acute illness protocols for the treatment of metabolic
disorders to be used by general practitioners and emergency room staff
and sponsoring social support events around New England.
Q: How do
I become a member?
A: Please contact Susan Waisbren, PhD, Harvey Levy, MD, or Vera Anastasoaie, BS. To learn more see Contact Us.

from states outside of New England allowed to join?
A: Yes, but as adjunct members. This means that they may come

I get an invitation to the annual meeting?
