Carol Berne, Psychiatry
For 30 years, Carol Berne has come in every day with a smile on her face and a skip in her step. She has been here long enough to know senior members of the department when they were trainees. As coordinator of our Psychiatry and Psychology training programs, she now has friends all over the country who are graduates of the programs. Carol’s warmth and humor are accompanied by an extraordinary ability to remain calm when deadlines loom and catastrophe seems imminent. We are enormously grateful for Carol’s continued commitment to the Department of Psychiatry, and to Children’s.
